Diocese of
Raska and Prizren

.
A new reissue of the video film "Crucified Kosovo" edited by the Diocese of Raska and Prizren was recently rendered with the blessing of Rt. Rev. Artemije, the Bishop of the mentioned Diocese. The film lasts 35 minutes and includes camera shots from the air and from other perspectives of destroyed, damaged and devastated Serbian churches, monastery complexes and other monuments, which are the testimonies of Serbian existence in Kosovo and Metohia for centuries, and, at the same time, the witnesses to the bestial behaviour of the people who allegedly brought peace to everyone in this Serbian region, where human rights were "endangered".

KFOR peace forces entered Kosovo and Metohia on June 13, 1999 with the aim to guarantee peace and safety to all the inhabitants of the province. Since their arrival till present more than 250 000 Serbs and other non-Albanian people fled their hearths or were exiled from there. The Albanian extremists killed and kidnapped more than 1000 people and set on fire thousands of Serbian homes. Just in the past eight months, although almost 40 000 men - the members of elite NATO troops and UN civil administration - were present, more than 85 Orthodox Serbian shrines, churches and monasteries were razed to the ground, damaged or desecrated.
